DJ Physique
Biografie
In Kentucky geboren und in den Strassen von Chicago aufgewachsen, fand DJ Physique seine Bestimmung in der Musik. Schon nach kurzer Zeit zählte er zu den besten DJs in Europa. Meine Karriere als Entertainer begann vor mehr als einem Jahrzehnt als Ikone in der Fitness Welt. Zur gleichen Zeit fing ich an, den amerikanischen Street Flavor in die deutschen Clubs zu bringen. In vielen, bis heute legendären Clubs wie das Blue Beach in Galenkirchen/Urbach oder das Neuschwanstein in Köln, arbeitete ich als der erste Resident DJ. Diese Clubs setzten den Standard für die gegenwärtige Club Szene und haben bis heute noch nicht ihresgleichen gefunden. Um meinen Horizont zu erweitern und neue Clubs kennen zu lernen, wurde ich schließlich Tour DJ. Von 1997 bis 1999 tourte ich mit FUBU durch ganz Deutschland und legte dabei für Künstler wie LL Cool J und das New Yorker und das deutsche FUBU Street Team auf. Für das R&B Festival, in dessen Rahmen etliche Open-Air-Konzerte statt fanden, tourte ich 1999 in Georgien. Weiterhin spielte ich für die MTV LICK Party 2000 mit VJ Trevor Nelson im Palladium/Köln. Ab 2003 bis einschließlich 2004 war ich Repräsentant für TMF, einen der berühmtesten Musiksender in Belgien, und dessen TMF Cool Sweat Party Tour. Referenzen (Auszug)

On October 22-23, U.S. Consulate General in Vladivostok supported the first International Youth Music and Dance Festival, a.k.a, ArtDance. The Russian Ministry of Culture organized the event with assistance from the Primorye Regional Administration and the Vladivostok Mayor's Office. This event is one of several kick-off events related to the 2012 APEC Summit. For two nights, DJs and dancers from Russia, Japan, The United States, Australia, and China entertained and energized the youth of Vladivostok at a huge smoke-free and alcohol-free party in a former department store building. Americans DJ Physique (James Hunter) and MC Michael Ameer (Michael Williams) demonstrated their unique use of turntables and microphones. Enthusiastic hip-hoppers and break-dancers from Japan, China, Moscow, and Vladivostok attracted and inspired thousands of Vladivostokians of all generations. During the same weekend, Russia's National Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Vladimir Spivakov, presented two concerts, one of which included Charlie Chaplin's City Lights accompanied by the orchestra.
